本プライバシーポリシーは、語学学習アプリ「PolyStep」（以下「本アプリ」）と、ウェブサイト polystep.app（以下「本サイト」）における、利用者の情報の取り扱いを説明するものです。English version below.

1. 本アプリ

1.1 集める情報

本アプリは、開発者のサーバーに個人情報を送信・保存しません。

  • 学習の記録（端末の中だけ）: 学習の履歴、復習の予定、連続学習日数、言語の設定などは、すべてお使いの端末の中だけに保存されます。開発者がこれらにアクセスすることはありません。アプリを削除すると、これらも削除されます。
  • アカウント登録: 要りません。氏名・メールアドレスなどの入力を求めることはありません。

1.2 アプリ内課金

有料の単語パックの購入は、Apple の App Store の決済で行われ、購入状態の管理に RevenueCat（RevenueCat, Inc.）を使います。RevenueCat に送られるのは、匿名の識別子と購入の情報（レシート）だけで、氏名・連絡先などの個人情報は含まれません。詳しくは RevenueCat のプライバシーポリシーをご覧ください。

1.3 発音の音声

単語の発音は、アプリに収録した音声ファイル（Microsoft Azure の AI 合成音声で、あらかじめ作ったもの）を端末の中で再生します。一部の端末では、端末の音声合成機能を使います。いずれも、音声の再生のために情報を外部へ送ることはありません。

1.4 広告・アナリティクス

本アプリには、第三者の広告と行動分析のツールは含まれていません。将来これらを入れる場合は、本ポリシーを更新し、アプリの中でお知らせします。

2. 本サイト

2.1 アクセス解析

本サイトは、閲覧数と表示の速さを知るために、Cloudflare Web Analytics を使います。Cookie を使わず、閲覧した人を個別に識別しない形で集計します。

2.2 外部への送信（電気通信事業法に基づく公表）

本サイトでは、次の情報が外部へ送信されます。

2.3 ブラウザに保存する情報

本サイトは Cookie を使いません。表示のために、次の情報をブラウザのセッションストレージに一時的に保存します。タブを閉じると消え、外部へは送りません。

  • SNS などのリンクから来たときの出どころの名前（例: tiktok）。App Store へのリンクに付け、どこから来た人がアプリを入れたかを、Apple の集計で人数として知るために使います
  • 最後に発音を聞いた言語（案内の文に使います）と、アプリの案内を閉じたかどうか

また、ミニクイズで選んだ学ぶ言語を、次に開いたときのためにブラウザのローカルストレージに保存します。外部へは送らず、ブラウザの設定で消せます。クイズの成績は保存しません。

2.4 紹介（PR）のリンク

「PR」と表示した紹介のリンクを押すと、移動先のサービスや、アフィリエイトの仲介事業者が、成果の計測のために Cookie などを使うことがあります。その取り扱いは、各社のプライバシーポリシーに従います。

3. お問い合わせで受け取る情報

  • 受け取る情報: メールアドレス、書いていただいた場合はお名前、お問い合わせの本文。アプリから発音の誤りを報告していただく場合は、自動で入る単語の ID、各言語の語、アプリの版
  • 利用目的: お問い合わせへの返信、訳や発音の誤りの修正、アプリとサイトの品質の改善
  • 第三者への提供: 法令に基づく場合を除き、第三者に渡しません
  • 保管: メールは Cloudflare, Inc.（米国）の転送を通じて受け取り、運営者のメールボックス（米国の事業者のサービス）で保管します

4. 保有個人データに関する事項

  • 運営者の氏名・住所、安全管理のために講じている措置は、ご請求があれば遅滞なくお知らせします。
  • 保有個人データの利用目的の通知、開示、訂正・追加・削除、利用の停止などのご請求は、下のお問い合わせ先で受け付けます。
  • 苦情やご相談も、同じお問い合わせ先で受け付けます。

5. お子様のプライバシー

本アプリと本サイトは、特定の年齢層に向けたものではありません。本アプリと本サイトの中では、どの利用者からも個人情報を集めません（メールでのお問い合わせを除きます）。

Privacy Policy (English)

This Privacy Policy explains how the language-learning app "PolyStep" (the "App") and the website polystep.app (the "Site") handle user information.

1. The App

The App does not transmit or store any personal information on the developer's servers.

  • Learning data (on-device only): Your study history, review schedule, streaks, and language settings are stored only on your device. The developer cannot access this data. Deleting the App deletes this data.
  • Account registration: Not required. The App never asks for your name, email address, or other personal details.
  • In-app purchases: Purchases are processed by Apple's App Store. We use RevenueCat (RevenueCat, Inc.) to manage purchase entitlements. Only an anonymous identifier and purchase receipt data are sent to RevenueCat — no name or contact information. See the RevenueCat Privacy Policy.
  • Pronunciation audio: Pronunciations are audio files bundled with the App (created in advance with Microsoft Azure AI text-to-speech) and played on your device. Some devices use the device's built-in speech synthesis. In either case, no data is sent anywhere for playback.
  • Advertising & analytics: The App contains no third-party advertising and no behavioral analytics tools. If these are introduced, this policy will be updated and announced in the App.

2. The Site

  • Analytics: The Site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand page views and loading speed. It does not use cookies and does not identify individual visitors.
  • Information sent to third parties: Cloudflare, Inc. (analytics: page URL, referrer URL, browser and OS type, screen size, loading time; delivery of pages and audio at audio.polystep.app: IP address and request data, to deliver content and protect against abuse). Apple Inc. (Smart App Banner in Safari on iPhone: IP address, browser information, and the app ID, to show the app banner). See the Cloudflare and Apple privacy policies.
  • Browser storage: The Site does not use cookies. It temporarily stores, in your browser's session storage, the name of the referring source (e.g. "tiktok") to add it to App Store links, the last language you played, and whether you closed the app banner. This is deleted when you close the tab and is never sent to us. The learning language you choose in the mini quiz is kept in local storage for your next visit; it is never sent anywhere and can be cleared in your browser settings. Quiz scores are not stored.
  • Sponsored (PR) links: When you follow a link marked "PR", the destination service or affiliate network may use cookies to measure referrals, under their own privacy policies.

3. Information you send us

When you contact us by email, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and your message. When you report a pronunciation error from the App, the report also includes the word ID, the word in each language, and the app version. We use this only to reply, fix errors, and improve the App and the Site. We do not share it with third parties except as required by law. Emails are received through Cloudflare, Inc. (USA) email forwarding and stored in the operator's mailbox (a service of a US company).

4. Your requests

The operator's name and address and the security measures we take are available on request. Requests to disclose, correct, delete, or stop using your personal data, and any complaints, can be sent to the contact below.

5. Children's privacy

The App and the Site are not directed at any specific age group. Within the App and the Site, we collect no personal information from any user (except emails you send us).

Any changes to this policy will be announced on this page.
